Mr. Haijin Cheng is Partner/Deputy General Manager of 4stones Cross-cultural. Before joining 4stones, his wide variety of professional experiences include as BD/M&A Director for GE (China) and Honeywell (Asia Pacific), as well as management roles at BNP Paribas (HK), DBS Bank(HK), Pfizer/Pharmacia (US). He has developed expertise in domestic/cross-border M&A, cross-cultural management/communication, corporate financing, financial management, internal audit, and risk management. The industries he has involved include pharmaceutical/biotech, automation control, equipment manufacturing, energy, financial service, etc.
He has lived and worked in multicultural environments, such as multinational corporations and joint ventures for many years. Before he returned to mainland China in 2006, he has worked in US and Hong Kong for more than 15 year, including taking short-term assignments in Europe, Japan and Latin America. He obtains great insights and hands-on experiences in global business operation, capital market, international political & legal environment, and cultural differences among countries and regions.
In addition, Mr. Cheng actively involves in seminars and lectures in Chinese traditional culture, Chinese-Western literature and art appreciation, overseas higher education, etc. for local educational institutions and communities. He also published numerous articles in major newspapers and magazines in China regarding topics in economic development, business management, social and cultural education.
Mr. Cheng obtained his MBA from Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. He also holds CPA certificate and Honeywell Six Sigma Core Green Belt.
