Professor Wang Guanfu works as the Associate Dean of School of International Studies at UIBE. He received his BA degree in English from University of International Business and Economics in 1979 and joined the faculty since then. In 1983, Professor Wang studied at University of Canberra majored in TESOL as a visiting scholar. Then in 1991, he achieved a MBA degree at Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona, USA. In the year 1995 and 2000, Professor Wang attended the Asian Pacific Young Scholars Symposium, his speeches and seminar papers were acknowledged with compliments.
Professor Wang’s main research interests focus on Business English, and Cross-Cultural Communication and Management studies. These interests span across topics in business English research, intercultural business research, business management research, and international enterprises management research. In 2002, Professor Wang set up the very first postgraduate program in Cross-Cultural Business Management in China.
Professor Wang teaches Cross-Cultural Business Management, Cultural Diversity and Economical Globalization, Management (English), International Management (English), Advanced Business English Reading, Writing for Business.
