Professor Zhao is an Associate Professor in the Cross-cultural Communications program at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Beijing. He has been teaching Cross-cultural Communications for Global Managers at UIBE since 1985.
He has been a visiting professor at Thunderbird School of Global Management (1991), the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota (1997), and the China Research Unit of the Manchester Business School in Manchester, United Kingdom (1990). He has also worked for the Economic and Trade Office, Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland (1998-2002).
Professor Zhao has a Master’s Degree in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona (1983).
